Engineering Intern (Product + AI Systems)
Overview of Glitch
At Glitch, we’re rebuilding how B2B companies grow. We’re creating an AI marketing agent that turns real-time customer and performance signals into better targeting, better creative, and better results automatically. Instead of “set-and-forget” campaigns (or endless agency back-and-forth), Glitch continuously learns from every interaction and compounds performance over time.
We’ve just raised a €2M seed round and are scaling across the US and Europe. If you want to join a venture-backed startup early, work close to real users, and help shape how marketing teams operate in an agentic future, you’ll feel at home at Glitch.
If you love learning fast, building from first principles, and seeing your work ship to production, this is a rare opportunity to do that early in your career.
The Role
As an Engineering Intern, you’ll work closely with our CTO and core engineering team on real production systems – not side projects. This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and AI systems, and is designed for someone who wants to deeply understand how modern AI-driven products are built, tested, and improved in the real world.
You’ll help us ship better features, learn how agentic systems behave in production, and contribute directly to improving customer outcomes.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll be involved across the product lifecycle, including:
- Testing new features end-to-end and helping identify edge cases before release
- Analysing campaign, product, and system data to understand performance and failure modes
- Supporting experiments to improve agent and prompt behaviour
- Helping turn insights from data and users into shipped product improvements
- Working alongside engineers to debug issues and improve system reliability
This is a hands-on role with real responsibility and real impact.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need to tick every box – curiosity, ownership, and learning speed matter most.
Some mix of:
- Studying computer science, engineering, data, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving instincts and systems thinking
- Comfort working with data (even if it’s messy or incomplete)
- Interest in AI systems, agents, and how models behave in production
- Ability to communicate clearly and ask good questions
Why This Role Is Different
- You’ll work on a live, revenue-generating product used by real B2B companies
- You’ll learn how AI products actually operate beyond demos and notebooks
- You’ll work closely with senior engineers and leadership, not in a silo
- You’ll see how engineering, product, and customer feedback connect in practice
And As We Grow
Glitch is early. That means fewer rigid processes, more ownership, and more room to grow quickly. If you’re someone who thrives in ambiguity, wants exposure to how startups really work, and is excited by the idea of AI reshaping marketing, we’d love to hear from you.
